Vivian is a USPTR member and she is certified by the USTA to teach junior development programs for children 10 years old and younger . She is a USTA member and part of the greater washington team at Hains Point that won the women’s doubles category in the 2011-12 season. She taught children´s tennis in a private club setting with one of the best coaches in Venezuela — Abraham Sojo. While living in France, she attended Roland Garros Stadium — home of the French Open several times as part of a personal program of continuous tennis education. Vivian participated in the International Embassy Tournament in Paris, France, placing 1st in women’s singles. She also has a Masters Degree in Urban Planning and Development from the University of Paris in France and she has ten years experience in trade with the U.S. Department of Commerce (at the U.S. Embassy and the French Embassy) in the areas of sports, environment and other sectors. Her calm demeanor, strong athletic spirit, and encouraging instructional style allow students to learn in a positive environment.
