Montgomery TennisPlex (MTP) is a fun place to practice the lifelong sport of tennis. We provide world-class tennis instruction and programming for people of all ages and skill levels at an affordable price. At MTP, we are knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about tennis. Every staff member genuinely cares about our players and takes great pride in ensuring that they have the best possible experience. MTP is committed to seeing that our players reap all of the benefits of tennis, whether they are playing recreationally or competitively.

Jack Schore got the ball rolling 40 years ago when he left law school to pursue his passion of teaching tennis at the highest level in a very personal way. Fifteen years later, Jack met Kevin Dowdell when Kevin began playing and mentoring some of Jack’s top juniors and the two became friends. In 1991 Jack met Anne Pallie, a successful commercial real estate developer, and they decided to share their lives together. The three worked together to create the TennisPlex; a work in progress for over four years. In 1989 Jack met Vicki Datlow and they worked together to establish one of the nation’s first USTA junior training courses. Vicki and Jack joined forces in 1993 and she has managed Jack’s facilities since then. Vicki’s passion for tennis and her knowledge of the industry is legendary in tennis circles, and she will continue to bring her own brand of excellence to the TennisPlex.

Together, the team has created a community tennis center that provides a fun, high-energy environment for tennis players of all levels and all ages to accomplish their dreams and goals. MTP is about Passion for the lifetime sport of tennis, Customer Focus, Integrity and Excellence and these are the ingredients that create the unique experience and atmosphere that sets MTP apart.

MTP is more than just a tennis center – it’s a gathering place for the community. From adults socializing at mixers to kids completing their homework in the community room of the Clubhouse before and after tennis lessons, MTP provides a welcoming and open atmosphere that fosters relationship building, learning, and FUN for everyone.
