Inclement Weather Policies
All weather-related announcements regarding closing and/or opening the TennisPlex will be posted on the homepage.
TennisPlex does NOT follow Montgomery County Public Schools regarding closures, cancellations and delays. Please check our homepage announcement bar for updates on our hours of operations during inclement weather days.
Please be sure we have an email address to reach you for both home and work. If we have to cancel classes, we will email those registered and post an announcement on the website. Conditions are often changing throughout the day and vary widely in our area. We will host classes, if possible, and will often allow make-ups for those who are not able to attend due to inclement weather. If weather is questionable, please be sure to check the website or call us at the PLEX (240-477-4430) before you leave for classes, programs or court time reservations.
Notes:
Tennis shoes are not good on ice – Best to wear boots and change into tennis shoes inside.
Entrance to Park off Rte. 118 to Adventure Park area (Germantown Park Dr). may not be plowed when snowy and icy- Use Richter Farm Rd off Rte. 118.
