MedStar Health Official Medical Provider of Montgomery TennisPlex!
Montgomery TennisPlex is excited to announce a new partnership with MedStar Health! This partnership will elevate our program by providing our tennis and pickleball community access to many of the region’s top experts in the prevention and management of sports injuries.
The Montgomery TennisPlex was founded in 2012 by Mid-Atlantic Tennis Association Hall of Fame coach Jack Schore, who, over a 50-year career, has coached five top-50 professional tennis players and dozens of top-10 nationally ranked junior players. From junior developmental tennis and pickleball programs to adult classes, the TennisPlex proudly creates a welcoming learning environment for players no matter what stage of the game they are at.
“Montgomery TennisPlex is excited about the partnership with MedStar Health, as it will enhance our services and provide significant value to the local community. The partnership aims to assist parents, coaches, and athletes in injury prevention, encourage healthy lifestyles, and ensure access to top-notch sports medicine care when needed.” says Jack Schore, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Montgomery TennisPlex.
Medstar Health is one of the largest healthcare providers in the Mid-Atlantic region with services in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, and Primary Care, and more. This partnership will provide access to a wide array of specialists in an expedited manner, allowing you to get back on the court safer and faster.
MedStar will be our dedicated concierge team for any medical services our players might need. We will install new safety plans and procedures for the Plex as well as upgrade our safety equipment and supplies (first aid kits, AED machines and more). MedStar will also offer periodic training and certification services to our staff - CPR / AED certification and medicine administration certification.
E-mail Marco at Marco@ProsToYou.com if you would like to learn more, have any questions or injuries. Over the next few weeks we will bring the MedStar team to the Plex to offer individual one-on-one body assessments to each player who wants to better understand their body measurements and balance to better help prevent any future injuries.
