Montgomery TennisPlex Celebrates 10 Years with the Opening of its Third Indoor Tennis Bubble
The Montgomery TennisPlex is proud to announce the opening of its third indoor tennis bubble in honor of the organization’s 10th anniversary. With this addition, the TennisPlex will comprise 12 indoor and 4 outdoor courts, making it one of the largest racquet sports facilities in the DMV.
The TennisPlex was founded by Mid-Atlantic Tennis Association Hall of Fame coach Jack Schore, who, over a 50-year career, has coached five top-50 professional tennis players and dozens of top-10 nationally ranked junior players. “As any business owner will tell you, 10 years is a milestone that every entrepreneur dreams of. I am honored to have been a part of TennisPlex’s inception 10 years ago and look forward to all of the growth that is yet to come,” says CEO & Founder of Montgomery TennisPlex, Jack Schore.
The opening of bubble #3 will be marked by a private ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, October 27, followed by a series of remarks from key individuals within the tennis community, including Jack Schore.
From junior developmental programs to adult classes, the TennisPlex proudly creates a welcoming learning environment for players no matter what stage of the game they are at. Additionally, earlier this year, the TennisPlex began its Plex Pickleball Program, where players can have unlimited access to pickleball courts year-round, 7 days a week. The first of its kind in the area.
The TennisPlex, a recipient of the 2014 USTA Tennis Facility of the Year award, is looking forward to its continued growth in all-things racquet sports in the years to come.
